Mr Friday Omeribe

Mr. Friday Omeribe serves as the Shipping Bunker Officer for Azimuth Shipping Lines Limited. He graduated from Lagos State Polytechnic with a degree in Secretarial Administration and has garnered valuable experience from various reputable organizations prior to joining our team.

From 1993 to May 1996, Mr. Omeribe worked at Britek Engineering Co. Limited in Ikoyi, Lagos, serving as the Secretary/PA to the Managing Director. Following this, he joined Nathole Petroleum Limited, where he worked as a Trader in petroleum products and also served as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.

During his tenure at AL-Dawood Shipping Lines Limited from September 1998 to June 2006, Mr. Omeribe held the position of Bunker Trader for eight years. Subsequently, he worked as a Senior Manager (Operations) at Highpoint Global Resources Limited from July 2006 to February 2007.

In March 2008, Mr. Omeribe joined Pokat Nigeria Limited as a Bunker/Cargo Trader, where he also acted as the Admin/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. In his current role at Azimuth Shipping Lines/Delakes Oil Trading Limited, he is responsible for bunker inquiries and nominations from both national and international clients. He ensures the efficient loading and discharge of cargoes across the company’s fleet of vessels and provides assistance to the Managing Director in various other areas.

Mr. Omeribe has participated in numerous courses on bunkering activities and management in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. He is happily married with children.
